Technological Investment by rusticasa® Strengthens Industrial Efficiency and Production Capacity in 2025/2026

Facing a particularly challenging economic environment, marked by a shortage of qualified labour, rising production costs and continuously increasing energy expenses, rusticasa® implemented, throughout 2025 and 2026, an important industrial modernisation plan focused on technological innovation and the optimisation of production processes.

The main objectives of this strategic investment were to increase operational efficiency, strengthen production capacity, improve quality control and ensure higher levels of safety in industrial operations, preparing the company to respond more competitively to the future demands of the timber construction market.

The modernisation programme included the installation of a new fully automated painting line, the acquisition of a high-precision CNC cutting line, the implementation of assembly tables for Timber Frame structures and the integration of several complementary production support systems.

Fully Automated Painting Line

Among the investments carried out, particular emphasis should be given to the new automated painting line, designed to ensure greater productivity and uniformity in finishing processes.

The system allows precise control over the application of paints and varnishes, ensuring a homogeneous distribution of products while significantly reducing waste. Process automation also contributes to better energy management and greater production stability, regardless of workload volume.

In addition to efficiency gains, this solution improves operator safety and ergonomics by reducing direct exposure to chemical products and minimising repetitive tasks.

The main advantages of this technology include:
  • Greater consistency and quality of finishes;
  • Reduced material consumption;
  • Optimisation of operating costs;
  • Increased processing speed;
  • Improved energy efficiency;
  • Enhanced working and safety conditions.

High-Precision CNC Cutting Line

The company’s commitment to industrial digitalisation was further reinforced through the introduction of an advanced CNC (Computer Numerical Control) cutting line designed for the automated processing of structural timber elements.

This equipment enables the execution of complex cuts with extremely high precision, ensuring excellent repeatability while minimising margins of error. The direct connection between technical design systems and production contributes to faster manufacturing processes and optimised raw material usage.

The automation of these operations also represents an effective response to the growing difficulty in recruiting specialised structural carpentry professionals.

The main benefits of this technology include:
  • High dimensional accuracy;
  • Reduction of timber waste;
  • Faster execution times;
  • Improved integration between design and production;
  • Flexibility for customised solutions;
  • Greater production reliability and control.

Assembly Tables for Timber Frame Structures

The modernisation of the prefabrication area also included the acquisition of technical assembly tables for Timber Frame structures, enabling more precise and efficient production of structural panels.

These solutions facilitate the positioning and fastening of different components, ensuring greater dimensional stability and improved geometric control during the assembly process. At the same time, they contribute to reducing manufacturing times and improving workstation ergonomics.

The increasing industrialisation of timber construction therefore allows productivity to be increased without compromising the high quality standards required for this type of construction.

The main advantages of this investment include:
  • Greater precision in structural assembly;
  • Reduced production times;
  • Improved operational ergonomics;
  • Increased productivity;
  • Greater uniformity of manufactured elements.

Complementary Strategic Equipment

Alongside the major industrial equipment investments, rusticasa® also strengthened its technological infrastructure through the acquisition of various complementary systems aimed at logistics optimisation, internal material handling, energy efficiency and the improvement of production processes.

These investments include production support systems, handling equipment and technological solutions focused on industrial digitalisation and monitoring, all of which are fundamental to increasing the company’s responsiveness and ensuring greater production flexibility.

Industrial Innovation Serving Timber Construction

Through this investment programme, rusticasa® reinforces its commitment to innovation, industrialisation and the sustainability of timber construction.

The technological modernisation implemented in 2025 and 2026 not only increases the company’s competitiveness, but also ensures greater production efficiency, improved quality control and a stronger response to the future challenges facing the sector.

This investment therefore represents a strategic step towards consolidating the company’s industrial capacity and promoting timber construction as a modern, efficient and sustainable building solution.
