In the heart of Paris

Le Moniteur, the first title of the French Professional press, publishes in its magazine No. 5782 an article on our rehabilitation project of 7 PMR houses on behalf of GTM Bâtiment, a company of the Vinci group.

Paris Habitat, the client of this project located at the foot of one of the buildings of the ensamble called Les Périchaux, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, modeled two of the seven apartments into homes to be adapted to the elderly. These apartments are designed to evolve as their tenants lose their autonomy.

The lessor took advantage of the conversion of rooms into PMR (People with Reduced Mobility) standards to test the solution developed by Vivalib, an engineering consultancy firm specializing in residential areas for the elderly.

The overall performance of the building envelope also depends on how these elements are connected. It is precisely at these junctions that thermal bridges may occur, creating areas where heat flow is greater than through the adjacent surfaces.
