Architectural Days Àvivre

Architecture-A-Vivre-400.webp
Multihome-Experience project by architect Orash Montazami, from the Parisian studio INEDIT, was chosen by the magazine Architectures Àvivre for the architectural days organized between the 16th and 25th of June.

Multihome-Experience is a condominium consisting of four residential units of two floors, entirely built in wood on the ruins of an old farmhouse situated near Versailles, by the French subsidiary of rusticasa®.

The global project respects the “village” aspect of Alluets-le-Roi, keeping in particular the surrounding wall that once housed the farms and houses of the village and conserving a large part of the existing building. Although they are cohabitating in the same ensamble, the privacy of each house is ensured through the placement of fences and individual gardens.

The materials used are those already existing on the site, such as white plaster coatings and stone, which was completed as part of the design with wood surfaces. The roof of the reclaimed building is coated with a zinc anthracite sheet. The architecture of the houses respects environmental standards, markedly due to the installation of efficient insulation systems, thus limiting energy consumption.

The magazine reproduces an overview of the construction which you can find here, but you can also review this project via this link: Multihome-Experience, or on the architect’s website: INEDIT
