Excellence et Innovation

Over 40 years of making dreams happens

Once upon a time…
casa de madeira, casa de madera, maison en bois, wooden house

In 1978 the idea of the first wooden house was born, that would give life to the project RUSTICASA®. A craft house, entirely made by hand, built in wooden trunks 30 cm in diameter. The “Trunks House”, as it was then called, remains, still today, iconic for the company.

Producing quality

It follows a vast investment process with the acquisition of 10,000m² of industrial land and the construction of a modern factory, equipped with semi-automated production lines. Industrialization would allow us to take the definitive leap into the national market with a quality product, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified.

Innovating and perfecting

Over 40 years of experience, RUSTICASA® has acquired a unique and internationally recognized know-how, as evidenced by the awards that have distinguished the company for four decades. From AITIM quality label to marking, to LNEC approval.

Quality and sustainability

Our Philosophy

Sustainable wood construction:

the choice of a responsible future,

for a healthy home.

Choosing wood

Wood is an ally in the fight against global warming. Choosing wood means conducting an eco-friendly policy for sustainable development.

Building with wood

To build in wood is to allow the forest to develop, thanks to the sustainable management of its resources, preserving the environment, without destroying the forest capital.

To be eco-friendly

The wood construction helps the ecological balance by its CO2 storage potential, as well as its thermal insulation qualities that limit energy consumption.

The quality of the execution determines the durability of the construction. If this statement can be applied to masonry constructions, it can also be said about wooden constructions. In this sense, the quality of our products, our services and our supervision has truly established itself into a true company culture.

From the choice of wood from certified sustainably managed forests, to continuous training of our employees, through research and constant development of the most appropriate constructive solutions, RUSTICASA® has given itself as a mission from its conception, to offer a quality service that respects the environment, while integrating social and economic concerns.

100% sustainable wood management:
A FOREST IN YOUR HOME
For an eco-friendly wood construction

Forest certification labels on products are a guarantee of transparency that makes you more aware of the choice you are making, more responsible in your purchases, thus establishing the necessary link between forests and consumers.

Forest certification guarantees the use of wood in the production processes from sustainable and responsibly managed forests, in terms of environmental, social and economic issues.

Now you can make an informed choice and live in harmony with Nature

Living in harmony with Nature

The tool of certifications

RUSTICASA®‘s desire to inform consumers about the true origin of its raw materials led us to select suppliers who adhered to the two main internationally used forest certification standards. In addition, we contribute financially to the reforestation of areas at risk of desertification.

Recycling :
Let’s imitate Nature

In nature, all substances circulate, are transformed and finally reabsorbed or reused. Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed. This is the living maxim of Lavoisier in his Elementary Treatise on Chemistry. By imitating this natural cycle, RUSTICASA® wooden houses can also be reclaimed, recycled and reused.

A Healthy Home

RUSTICASA® has always taken care to protect people’s health and therefore uses only certified raw materials, strictly adhering to the limits set for the formaldehyde emissions of wood-based panels. In addition, only chlorine-free glues are used throughout the laminated wood production.

We plant trees!

We
plant
trees!

RUSTICASA® has joined the community of partners of the non-governmental organization One Tree Planted.

As an environmental charity, One Tree Planted is committed to making it easier for individuals and companies to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!

Started in 2014, One Tree Planted has more than doubled the number of trees planted year after year. Today, the organization works with reforestation partners around the world who help get trees in the ground to restore forests after fires and floods, create jobs, build communities and protect the habitat for biodiversity.

Laminated logs
Traditional construction system composed of laminated wood logs. Defined by a very characteristic and easily recognizable architecture, this constructive system is typical of the Nordic countries, but adapts perfectly to the warmer climates.
Image icon
Timber Frame
In timber construction, the Timber Frame system is the most popular construction technique, allowing a great freedom of architectural expression. It is ideal for both new constructions and extensions. A Timber Frame house adds lightness and solidity.
Image icon
Post & Beam
Post & Beam is a constructive technique that allows design flexibility, offering with its main structure, consisting of posts and solid beams or glued laminated wood, large extensions for very open façades, thus preserving free and ample spaces.
Image icon
ITS ™
The Insulated Timber System (ITSTM) uses NATURLAM® self-supporting panels for all structural and house-covering elements. The laminated glued wood panels insulated with cork at its core, offer a high coefficient of thermal resistance and allow a very fast assembly.
